Heres a demonstration of the browsers speed on Android, Windows phone 7, Symbian^3  and iPhone iOS 4. Video after the break!

Video demonstrating first the speed of the browsers on each terminal/system (the cache have been cleared on all before this), after that I show how nice/or not so nice they rotate the browser windows. And at last the bootup time of each terminal.

Amazon Cloud Player streams tunes to iOS, following silent upgrade

Amazon Cloud Player has been laying low following its scuffle with Sony Music, but that hasn't kept the company's developers from rolling a crucial new feature out -- support for Apple's iOS devices, which it didn't have on day one. Despite running in the Safari browser window, we've confirmed that songs will indeed play. iOS 5 updates expected to be carried over-the-air, at least for the Verizon iPhone

Having spent a good part of our day yesterday negotiating with iTunes and downloading a whopping 666.2MB file to update our iPhone to version 4.3.3 -- a version, we might add, whose sole claim to fame is the removal of things -- we know well the pains of updating Apple's mobile software. Those aches, however, may soon be coming to an end. 9to5Mac has multiple sources informing it that Apple and Verizon are scheming to start delivering iOS updates over the air from this fall, or just as soon as iOS 5 is made available. Untethered OS updates are a familiar feature to users of other smartphone operating systems and even the iOS-infused Apple TV, but getting Apple's mobile devices up to date has so far always required going through the company's own cable and software.More after the break...

iOS 4.3.3 is out, location tracking 'fix' in tow

Apple's promised update to iOS to rectify what it perceived as a set of bugs in the system -- namely, an excessively large cache of location information that was backed up to iTunes and hung around even after you switched Location Services off -- is now being distributed to iPhones, iPads and iPod touches out in the wild. To exterminate those problematic aspects of your OS, you know what to do -- hook up to iTunes and get downloading.

HBO Go mobile app for Android and iOS

 HBO Go has been live on the iTunes App Store and Android Market for just a few short hours, but we've already put it through the paces, poking and prodding on our iPad and iPhone, to see what all the hubbub's about. We're pleased with the hefty amount of video that HBO's offering up here, and the interface is pretty intuitive as well. Still, browsing through the myriad content on the iPad's larger screen is definitely a bit more leisurely than on the iPhone's 3.5-inch counterpart. Both apps sport the same feature set, so searching for content, saving things to watch later, and blasting updates to Facebook and Twitter will work well on whichever device you choose. To make the deal even sweeter, it's free for current subscribers, so there's really no reason to not check it out for yourself

Apple released today iOS version 4.3.2 (and 4.2.7 for Verizon iPhone) for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and it seems that the only changes noted by Apple are bug fixes and security updates. Download it for free from iTunes but be careful, if you have jailbroken your iPhone / iPad it will remove your jailbreak and all custom apps.
