NOKIA COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF VOVARRA

Nokia today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Novarra, Inc., initially announced on March 26, 2010. Novarra’s mobile browser and services platform will be used by Nokia to deliver enhanced Internet experiences on Nokia Series 40 mobile phones.

This is a demonstration of how Novarra server increases speed and reduces over the air data for smartphones like HTC MyTouch (G2).

On March 26th, Nokia announced its intent to acquire Novarra, the Internet Mobility company, due to its expertise and ground-breaking products for mobile internet and cloud-based services for web, applications and advertising.
