SUMMER UPDATE FOR NOKIA SYMBIAN^3 TIME LINE?

You will no doubt be aware of a Nokia Event to be held next week. Rumours are surfacing that it is the long awaited symbian^3 update, now supposedly renamed the ’summer update’. Yours truly has been invited to ‘lunch and chat’ with the Nokia folk at the kind invite of WomworldNokia on the same day. I still hope for a symbian^3 qwerty/touch hybrid seeing that I am ‘rolling’ with my Nokia N82 until then.

UPDATE FOR SYMBIAN^3 - PR 2.0 SPOTTED ON NAVIFIRM

Seems like PR2.0 is coming very soon for Symbian^3 devices since a new firmware update was spotted on Navifirm for the Nokia C7.
The new v20.037 for the Nokia C7 (RM-691) is already available from links so is expected to come for all phones very soon.

OPERA MOBILE 10.1 FOR SYMBIAN^3 - UPDATE

NOKIA DELAYS SYMBIAN^3,SHOTS ITSELF IN THE FOOT

There’s not much to say, the post title is self explanatory. Nokia will delay the release of Symbian^3 until sometime in the third quarter. That said, don’t expect any new shiny Nokia mobiles before the end of summer 2010 while your friends will be rocking the house with their new iPhone OS 4 and Android Froyo handsets.
